This device is mainly prepared based on the concept of time delays. It perform actions. Based on the time delays. User can do program on this device and he can give values of time delays as His requirements. By using this device one can write program to operate a robot. One can use this Device for operate devices which are working upon time delays. It operates without  the help of  processor.

DEVICES:

OSCILLATOR & CLOCK GENERATOR:

The oscillator produces oscillations for giving input to clock generator. The clock Generator produces clocks for giving input to counter. Counter will increments its value by these Clock pulses. Here 555 timer used for the producing clock pulses.

COUNTER:

Counter  will  increments  its  values  by  clock  pulses  given  by  clock  generator.The  delay  time is decided  by  counter  value ( Output  of  counter  is  delay  time) .Here  4020 , 4520, 4529 counters are used.

MEMORY:              

Here SRAM are used as memory. The delay times given by user is stored into Memory. These values go to input to COMPARATOR. Here HY6264A used for the memory.

COMPARATOR:

It compares the values from memory and counter. If they are equal then it Sends an ACTIVATION signal to decoder   which locates the   address   of   output   device. Here 74ls85 As   comparator

OUTPUT DEVICES:

These devices are activated by signal from decoder. Here for activating output devices  JK flip flops  are used  for  activating  output  device  and for  storing  output  signal  until  next Output signal comes.    

WORKING:

1     Oscillator produces oscillations to clock generator.
   Clock generator produces clocks for counters.
   Counter increments its value and given to comparator as input.
   The  delay  time  value is  fetched  from  memory  and  given as input  to  Comparator 
5    The comparator checks these values whether they are equal or not. If  they  are equal  then  
       it  sends  a signal to activate  output  device  and a  signal  to  Increment  address  location  of  SRAM   and a signal to reset  pin of counter.

6    Steps  1 to  5 will  be  repeated  until  output  address  is  equal  to  either   00000000 or 00000001 

   If the output address is 00000000 the device operation is stopped. If  the  output  address  is 00000001 then  operation  will  again  repeated  from  starting  given  memory  location.

COST EFFECTIVENESS:

1.The equipment necessary to build this circuit consists of simple IC’s which are limited in number and
    are of low cost.
2. since there is NO NEED of PROCESSOR  we need not invest much money on this equipment.
